The Financial Monetary Authority of Liechtenstein has given their nod to Berlin-based fintech firm, Neufund to launch public offerings through its tokenized equity network.
On September 16, 2019, Neufund announced retail-grade public offerings concerning tokenized equity with the least ticket value amounting to a meager of 10 Euros. The co-founder and CEO of Neufund, Zoe Adamovicz showed his happiness on receiving the regulatory clearance from Liechtenstein authorities by saying that his company “delivers on its promise to democratize access to funding for entrepreneurs globally.”
Adamovicz further stated that: “It’s a big day – not just for Neufund, but business and finance.”
The announcement made it clear that only accredited US-based investors will be indulged in the Neufund’s public offering process.
Neufund’s highly-anticipated public offerings will be stuffed with the element of uniqueness and security for the participants. Where ICOs or Initial Coin Offerings along with other kinds of tokenized financial solutions, Neufund offers investment solutions that represent legally binding equity in a firm.
The first-ever retail sector focused public offering launched is an electric mobility platform, Greyp. The management arm of Neufund revealed that the company had employed $16 million in total capital through the reputed platform.
Neufund runs on a protocol developed on the Ethereum blockchain featuring efficient and secured smart contracts created in accordance with the ERC-20 token standard. Shining as one of the highly-active entities on the Ethereum platform, since 2016 Neufund has been trying hard to come up with its codebase.
Established in 2016 as the brainwork of Fifth Force GmbH firm, Neufund works as a blockchain-centered and investor-operated solution that promises to reduce the gap between the digital currency space and equity domain.
The official website of Neufund reads: “[Neufund] democratizes access to capital for innovators and entrepreneurs and makes investing easy, safe and accessible to everyone.”
The notable partners of Neufund include Binance, BitPay, Blocktrade, Bitcratic, and the Malta Stock Exchange.
